I saw this on the All Horse Stuff blog and, naturally, I love it.
"I must not forget to thank the difficult horses, who made my life miserable, but were better teachers than the well behaved school horses who raised no problems" -- Alois Podhaisky, Director of the Spanish Riding School 1939

Much wisdom in that statement. Myk quirky horse has forced me to LEARN how to ride, not just be a passenger.
Ohwa! Thanks for that...it is always so funny when you happen upon someone mentioning you in a post you are reading...and are surprised!
My sister, who brought me my mare after she was abused by a trainer...sent that quote to me.
I think it was to give me courage...but it is SO TRUE! I find that riding other's horses, amazingly easy now...coming from one that does her best to be a difficult ride!
Thanks by the way for signing up to "Follow/Lead/Share" at my place!
